I pictured my favorites: mashed potatoes, gravy and turkey.

We had a great day, and it sounds like you had some elegant and wonderful foods too...the mushroom dishes have my mouth watering! I love eggplant too. I'm going out for lunch in a few minutes and I hope I can find something on the menu that has mushrooms and eggplant..yummmmmm

Of course chocolates are always the exclalmation points of a wonderful dinner!

Thanks for posting your menu!

Hey Nate! Steak's quite good, one of my favorites, but I'm a traditionalist on Tday.

You must be counting down the days to your new school, life etc.

Keep clicking your camera!

Hi Mary,
I love the fact that you post photos now. Not that your writing wasn't sufficient but pictures do tell a story too. What a nice kitchen, love those faucet fixtures. There musta been quite a group if you had 2 turkeys and it looked beautifully cooked. I'm not a fan of leftover turkey tho so I sent most of it home with the guests. I went shopping yesterday and there were no turkeys left to buy. They're already playing the Christmas music too, I wasn't quite ready for that yet. Ready or not, here comes Christmas.
My favorites are the dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy and of course the canned jellied cranberry sauce.
Thanks for making me hungry once again Mary, have a great weekend, what's left of it anyway.

Dasha, I also love using the camera...I am not attempting to win awards with my photography, but it is a nice photographic reminder of what a nice day we had.

The hostess whose house we had dinner on Tday IS a professional photographer and she actually asked *me* for copies of my photos as she never gets a chance to take any when she's hosting a party.

Husband and I went out for lunch yesterday and the restaurant was playing xmas carols and there was a little lit up tree on the window sill where we sat. wow...better get done buying and start wrapping!

I'm tired from all the fun I've had so Monday's looking good to me.

Enjoy your Sunday Sweet Pea!

HI Kristen! Oh I wish it was my kitchen...it's the hostess's kitchen and it's just adorable.

I need to go out and buy a damn turkey because everytime I look at the photo of the golden brown baby on the stove I salivate!

I wanted to say earlier, the turkey so precariously placed on the corner, would have never made it in my house. We are a family of klutzes, including the animals. The house is so spakly clean too. Glad you had a nice day Mary.

PG - that's another way you can tell it isn't my house..it was immaculate!
