Isn't Finbar getting big?

Finbar still loves to sleep on Beau and Beau hates it but is tired of getting up to get away from him so is accepting the fact that he is just one big pillow to Finbar.

There was an odd screeching in our back yard and husband and I ran to the window to see what was making that noise...a wild turkey!

Made me feel badly because I'm so psyched for T-day yet here was this beautiful animal...maybe beautiful is stretching it...but a live animal sitting on the roof of our shed, screaming as if it knew about the Tday slaughter coming up.

I tried to get a picture but he flew away before I could turn on the camera. Bummer.

I love the content look on the cat's face when the dog just looks a bit dazed by cat cuddling. Very cute.

They grow up so fast... :)

I love how Beau just accepts his fate... looks like a warm and comfy pillow that I'd probably give it a try myself.

Hi Michelle! Nice to see you. I haven't had much time for blogging lately so I'm not making my normal rounds visiting, but I'm hoping that 2007 will give me some free time.

Happy Tday!

JDJ - It really is amazing how fast he's growing. We went back to the shelter yesterday and unloaded a case of cat food and bleach to them and they were so thankful.

I got a good feeling knowing other kitties without homes would at least have nice cat food for Tday.

Gotta love the doggie pillow... i've been known to use it myself on occasion. Looks to me like Finbar had no trouble just taking over and ingratiating himself into the house hold which is pretty cool. :)

My husband once told me a story of a friend of his who had a big old tom turkey walking through his yard, and i think that's what he shot and ate on thanksgiving. :) The wild ones are smart...but the domestic ones.. well they are stupid enough they deserve to be eaten. and looking forward to that i am. My mother just told me she wants *ME* to cook the turkey this year. well that should make things interesting. Guess wednesday night i'll be making herbed butter, along with the bailey's chocolate chip cookies and the meatballs for the bookstore on black friday. (where i will NOT be working thankfully :))

have a great thanksgiving and enjoy the bird! (i'll be testing my new ride on I-95 this weekend.)

Ilanna, don't know if my comment stuck on your blog today, cuz I'm having trouble with blogger, but your new car is so sweet, sexy and sharp I know you'll be turning heads everywhere you go!

Dasha, how did I remind you of meatballs? hahahahahahah

Nilbo, hope your babies are doing well. I'd say happy Tday but JDJ reminded me you already had yours!

Dasha, wish the car was mine!!!

(Oh no little VW Cabrio of mine. I didn't mean it. Don't get mad at me and not start. I love you I love you and I have to drive a car that has a top that will come off!!!))
