What a great day outside, sunshine, warm breeze, chirping birds and nary a lawnmower motor to be heard.

I picked a pound of green beans yesterday from the garden and I know there'll be a pound to pick today as the bushes are loaded with beans. Beans are funny, they seem to grow inches in an hour. Although I hate "harvesting", this year I seem to be more amenable to doing it because I seem to want to eat more vegetables lately.

Finbar has been carrying around a bean for a day now. He plucked one from the basket and ran off with it. It's his current favorite toy.

My lawn guy came yesterday with his girlfriend. Whenever she accompanies him, I know it will take hours to get the lawn done. Makes me wish I was fluent in Spanish, because the minute he seems to be ready to fire up the mower, she has something to say to him that makes him come back to the truck and talk to her.

I thought they'd never leave yesterday and most of the time was taken up with the cooing and wooing between my lawn guy and his lady. He's about 4 feet 10 inches and she's about 5 feet 10 inches. He weighs about 130 pounds and she weighs about 230 pounds. They make quite the couple, but attraction to another isn't always about looks, but feelings.

She either makes him feel good or she just plain feels good.

Im going to offend probably, but in the name of people watching - have you ever noticed the bigger the gal the skinnier the dude? While pondering the sex lives of said individuals (which I always think about at the drop of a hat) a friend and I used to joke about cats and cat toys and the gal laying on her back and flipping him like a cat nip mouse or another analogy was the circuis acrobat who juggled stuff with his feet. Pretty twisted huh? ;)

Hi Nic and Jeff. Nic, yes romantic and Jeff, your observations seem right on..I've also notice really short men with tall women and tall men ( like my husband) with me...short at 5 feet -- sometimes I think nature is trying to balance things out.

I will go to sleep tonight thinking of the positions you conjur up bad naughty jeff. hahahhaha

Gavin...I'm dying with suppressed yet snorted laughter..I'm laughing so hard I choose not to check my spelling on the word after "dying with" above --as I think I spelled it wrong and normally I'd look it up but I can't because of your very funny comment...lol-ing like crazy here.

I calmed down, was ok then reread your comment and started all over again. Dogs and cats aren't happy when mommy laughs out loud.

hey mary sorry i havent posted in a few. ive been busy and last weekend I was in a car accident im ok a lot sore but ok otherwise.

i love finbars blog btw that was great:)

and my dog will eat frozen green beans until they arent frozen anymore and then he will just leave them lying around:)

ive never understood how some people end up together.

oh and this morning i caught my munchkin pulling my cat around by the tail. fortunately my cat will not harm my daughter but the cat was putting up quite a fuss. i stopped the munchkin from pulling on the cats tail but she was not happy about and cried for like 10 minutes even though we explained to her not to do that and why...

gotta love 2yr olds.

sorry for the long post... hope all is well:)

Mini, never apologize for anything on this blog. I was very happy to hear about your life but very sorry about the accident. This is the 3rd car accident I've heard about this week that had to do with friends...geesh it's not safe out there, is it?

Hope you feel better and have no ill effects from the accident. Kids see cat tails as the handle for grabbing the cat!!
