On the subject of health care, did you ever notice that people who have insurance are strongly against reform, but those of us, like me, who don't have health insurance think that maybe there should be some reasonable way to insure all people, even me.

How many times has the president said in reference to health insurance; if you like what you have great -- keep it. Why are people so afraid of me getting some insurance?

Reform is for us poor souls who have zero insurance and every single day of the week we risk major health problems because we can't get help with little problems.

Husband and I have both worked - husband especially...worked his butt off, put himself through school with no parental help. Would be working today if anyone cared about the air quality.

In no way do I not deserve insurance...so please, let's stop being a third world country and live up to our potential here in America. Insure all of us, even me.

Thank you and good night.

Times like this make me so glad I am a veteran, and my father has probably saved hundreds of thousands in medical expense all because he was in the Navy from 65-69.

I hear talk of Canada as a good model, but I also hear it is on par with Mongolia, so let's go for Mongolian health care which is cheaper :)

Actually a system with an abuser's database and preventive measures would be good, along with legalizing euthanasia as health care costs are highest in the last few years.

We also need a lot more doctors

Deserving or not deserving are subjective terms. It is better to talk of the stability that may be generated by expanding coverage and showing how it will be paid for. Britain is another good example. They spend less of their GDP on it, have a higher cost of living, yet spend less per capita on health care than the US does.

Potentially we could reform health care at a n even lower cots than we pay now; well maybe not as little as we can add some for veterans.

US health care as it is now, isn't anything to brag about. Just look at the world infant mortality rates and you can't help but wonder why we are so far down on the list.

As long as insurance companies, pharma and hmos are allowed humongous profits, health care will be too costly for the average person to afford. Too young for Medicare too old to be uninsured, I just hope I can hold out until I can get some help here.

Small ailments that could be cured with a pill or a cream go uncured or worse irritated by home remedies or neglect.

My name isn't even in CVS's computer system because I am that healthy (knock on wood) and avoid doctors, still there are times when I need medical care, but can't have it. It stinks.

Legalizing euthanasia, yes, not sure about a database of abusers as who's the arbiter of what constitutes abuse.

My Canadian friends swear by their system but that's anecdotal.

As an atheist I can't even pray I'll stay healthy hahahahahahha

Linda, it is not fair that good hard working people like us haven't --through circumstances -- the same rights as those who have insurance.

If I'd had my way my husband wouldn't have been laid off!!!

The pictures are so cute!!!
