Hi Kids,

Well, well, I'm getting well. The sun is out so the cold doesn't feel quite as cold and my cold is getting better. Finbar is putting some weight on his leg which makes me feel that he's improving. I'm beginning to dream about spring and flowers and have hope that the ice and bitter cold weather goes away.

Dj's birthday is Saturday so after his show a bunch of us are going out to dinner to celebrate. I should be in fine form by then (if I keep slathering my nose with vaseline.) I feel so ugly right now, but I know that I'd rather go around greased up today and tomorrow and not have a red nose for Saturday and Sunday!

I have stayed away from the news which helps my spirits but not stayed away from spirits which shouldn't be news.

ttfn

Glad you're feeling better! This awful cold's been going around and attacking EVERYBODY! (I myself was miserable for a few weeks and wound up taking antibiotics). Anyway, the dinner sounds like fun - hope you'll tell us all about it!

knocking on wood knocking on wood... i haven't gotten it yet.

I had a friend in college who swore that the answer to any cold was to eat a head of garlic and drink a 5th of jack. He said it killed everything. (he didn't include that it could kill you too. :) ) I figure the hangover made you forget all about the cold... :)

Glad Finbar's foot seems to be getting better. Tripod cats tend to be a LITTLE clumsier and being the daredevil he is... well we'll just have to see how things progress.

enjoy the show and birthday tomorrow - we have a very busy day tomorrow ourselves. Have a great weekend!

Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Dont over do it and go getting yourself sick again. Take it easy .

The vasoline on the lip reminds me of Lisa Lubner from ye olde SNL.

Irina...oh you must have had it bad if you needed antibiotics...glad you're feeling better too!

Ilanna..Keep knocking on wood...April is around the corner then some nice weather for us all. I once had a bad sore throat and went out drinking- got very sick from the booze and woke up with a hangover but no sore throat and no cold ever came...

Beau, my light golden went to the vets today and now he's on an antibiotic and so is Finbar...pet medical costs are tough this week. Apparently he scratched his cornea and it got infected...total vet costs this week is $180!!!

Gavin...oh lisa lubner, bless her funny soul...wish I had some reruns to watch..and Todd wasn't he a looker?
