I feel like Finbar looks in this picture: sleepy.

He was standing on the counter waiting to be fed, but he could barely keep his eyes open. I also would like to be fed, but am too sleepy to do much about it.

I did make deviled eggs this morning. I have only made them maybe twice in my life, but a friend told me he had this big craving for deviled eggs and of course, he transferred his craving to me.

Yawn.

I ate two but I put in too much mustard I think. Still they have stopped the craving.

You'd think a pot of coffee would have woken me up by now.

Yawn.

Gavin, his tail deflates when tired. I prefer the plume.

lol @ Finbar. My old cat used to do that. Not quite with food, but she'd want to stay up with me no matter how tired she was. I'd watch her slowly close her eyes, waver a little bit, then twitch and open them again. She'd always look at me as if she meant to do it.

Finbar is getting so big!
I think it is funny that you let him get on the counters :) Or if you have rules against it is he one of those cats who doesn't believe in following rules?

We have one of those!

P.S. I thought of you during the Democratic debates...

Ilanna, must be spring fever causing so manyu people to feel droopy eyed. I'm still tired only now I have an excuse --I was up past 2 AM last night.

Mini - oh now your deviled eggs sound marvelous. Funny how the mention of a food one hasn't had in years starts the craving mechanisms working.

Nicole - cats never do anything foolish or silly you know. They always look like they meant to fall off the counter or slip into the water-filled tub! Sure...I am trying to learn that technique...

Sheryl - Wasn't it silly to have 8 people on the stage with 60 seconds to talk? Bad format in my mind...

Finbar isn't allowed to jump on the counters. But he doesn't care. We've learned to adapt to his ways rather than vice versa.

Reminds me of a friend who had an outdoor/indoor cat. The neighbor came over and complained the cat was digging in his flower garden. Her response was gee, I told him not to go into your yard!
