I collect old German and Japanese spun cotton Christmas Elves, but the must have teeth! The somewhat sinister look of the elves with teeth appeal to me. The ones without teeth look too benevolent for my twisted xmas spirit. I like fairy tales and magic and eautiful xmas music but I also need to balance it out with reality. These elves remind me that he holiday season is great, but reality is -- not every moment of the holiday will be antastic and filled with good cheer. There'll be crabby relatives and disappointed kids, hangovers and cookies that get burnt.

My evil self loves my evil elves! Heh, heh, heh, and ho ho ho!

Hi MB!

I think your little elves are cute!

And I think a dose of reality around the holidays is a GREAT thing. The people who expect perfection are the ones who get all disappointed and depressed, it seems.

I, for one, am so glad I don't have to do much for the holidays.....it's way too stressful. When I see how whacked out some people get over the holidays, it makes me happy I don't participate. I like the simple life!

Be well,my friend!

Those are awesome in a very creepy elf-like way. If I would have seen those when I was a little kid I think I would have lost it.

Hi Linda, they are cute in a sinister sort of way...I wonder why they were made with teeth and wonder if they were originally meant to be xmas ornaments...for all i know they're Halloween elves!

Nate, I've had some kids look at them and tell me they didn't like their faces...one little visitor turned them around so you saw their backs and not their evil smiles.

Marko!!!!!!!!!!!!, you've been so missed! I'll stop by soon to see you and am very happy you're back!

I agree with my mom...I like the simple life...

Our idea of decorating is plugging in an electric menorah in the window...that is it :)

I think the elves look sinister...but all elves look sinister to me..lol

An electric menorah? Blasphemy!! Actually they are quite practical, my friend Doc is multi-religious...he has the real damn thing but it makes him crazy because the candles are burning out faster than they should and cost...10 dollars a candle!!!

I'm all for simple too...every day should be a celebration of sorts...we can make it that way! xoxo
