Pump Your Ride

We just paid $2.44 per gallon for gas…what are you paying?

After this roll call we can do 1/2 gallons of milk, haircuts, boneless chicken breasts...

Kidding...but I wanna know...are you paying more or less than I am for a gallon of gas?

Thats about what Im paying too here in No. Calif. Cost me 47 bucks to fill it up last time.

Today it was 106 degrees, how bout you? Leather seats are not good in the summer. I tried seat covers but they get all crooked and annoy me so I'll have to remember to bring towels with me tomorrow to work.

97 cents a litre. So that translates into ... lessee .. carry the two ... hypotenuse of the right angle times X ... divide by number of tires minus number of rims ... ummmm ... I have no idea.

I have a Honda Accord and from fumes to full it cost me $52 Canadian today.

Sorry if this isn't helpful. Try living here.

Less. Last time I filled up, it was $2.29 / gal. A little over $20 for the whole tank. I love my small little car.

Arrrgh! I was just complaining to my husband this morning how I've been avoiding filling up the car because gas is $2.45 for premium here. And we used to complain about having co-op fees in Brooklyn!!

Thanks everyone for letting me know your current gas prices. Is anyone from the south around to comment? I know when we lived in Alabama, gas prices were much lower than the ones we paid in Ct. I always wondered why gas prices weren't the same all over the US - I still wonder about that.

Thanks William...we needed a southern price...

Kitsune...your price makes me ashamed I'm bitching so much about gas hikes...

My VW Cabrio, CB goes forever on a tank of gas. It's amazing..like a camel. What kind of car do you have? (I love my small car too!)

jeni..hi!...where are you located as in north south west...?

Mobil speed pass has a current offer, sign up and you get 5 cents off a gallon...so we signed up.

Dashababy, we topped 92 degrees here in CT but the humidity was low so it was very tolerable...

acumamkiki - did I tell you already how much I love your blogger name?

Summer...ouch $3.69!!!!!

Nilbo..I have to apologize to you too for moaning about prices..sounds like you have to empty your pockets to fill up your car too.

Doc, $5 in my car is a quarter tank about...

To clarify, once converted into U.S. dollars, I am paying about $3.05 per gallon. Given Canada is a net exporter of gas, I'm feeling a little growly about that.

I was thinking of going to Canada on vacation this year. Sounds like gas is pretty expensive. I'm in Michigan and got regular for $2.37 yesterday, but most places it's $2.45 or more.

Nilbo..I can see why you'd be growly (great word by the way)!

Welcome Squirl - I've always wanted to take the train to Montreal...now trains are just as scary as planes...

What Squirl said mostly. I've seen it get to 2.89 in Lansing. But, its down to about 2.49ish or so.

I just did a short post of temperature and humidity. It was funny to see it in the comments here. :-)

$2.35 here in Peekskill. I've seen it as high as 2.50 though. No one told me how muggy it can get here. Yikes! I thought I escaped that from Atlanta.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to let me know your current gas rates.

Let's hope either the gas prices go down or our salaries go up!

Reporting from Memphis....gas here is $2.15 & up for the cheapie gas. Of course, I don't mind driving to the 'hood for the good prices, and in Memphis the 'hood is just around the corner wherever you go!
