Recent Google Searches that Led People to my Blog
(and my comments)

nail fungus from vietnamese manicurists

Dear, it isn't the nationality of the manicurist that causes nail fungus. It's improper sterilization of manicure tools. Irish Catholic manicurists can pass along a nail fungus if they don't sterilize their tools. There is no specific Vietnamese Nail Fungus. There is however a wonderful Vietnamese recipe called: Crab, Shrimp, and White Fungus Soup (Sup Nam Trang)

self amputation glenn wannabe

I have no idea who Glenn is. Did he really amputate a part of himself? Who would wannabe Glenn? Don’t do it.

i hate the pores on my nose

I’m sorry to hear that. They speak so highly of you.

rectal lice why?

I ask myself that question too. Rectal lice, why? – does that bring you to my blog since I never spoke of rectal lice once on my blog, but those two words were once typed in a comment.

Why does my dog’s breath smell like fish?

You must have a cat. When my dogs’ breath smells like fish it’s because they’ve either eaten the cat food or sampled some litter box bon bons.

marie calendars pot pies, how long to cook

Look on the box. The answer is there somewhere…a lot easier to find than blog searching I would think.

Should I have a Vascillectomy?

That was a word I made up imitating a friend who always screwed up words. You are safe, there is no such thing. If you mean vasectomy I think yes, based on your spelling, I say yes.

stinky sinuses help

Sorry, don’t know what to tell you about stinky sinuses. I have had my fair share of sinus problems lately and that stinks. But, do my sinuses actually stink? I think not.

dog "red swollen toe" red

Since you say red twice in your search I am worried. It’s obvious your dog needs to go to the vets because its toe is quite red…hope you’ve done that by now.

geno auriemma a perfect piece consignment

I can see how this search brought you to my blog. Your search terms make no sense. When search terms make no sense, Google automatically sends you to my blog, just for the hell of it.

Marybishop breasts gif

Yes, I have them and have written about them. There are no pictures though. Sorry. If you meant gift but forgot to type in the T...then I'm sure they'd like some new Victoria's Secret bras...preferably silk with hand-sewn seed pearls.

ear crud

Crud is everywhere, including in ears. Since this is so nonspecific - I can only say, if you have it, get rid of it. If your dog has it, get rid of it. If your boyfriend has it, get rid of him.

Looking forward to hearing from you...hope I've helped. And a special thanks to Google for sending so many people to my site. (oh yeah...)

Yeah, first one to post a comment!!

Interesting post...and extremely hilarious. :D

Exactly how DO you know what Google searches leads people to your blog?

I came to your blog in such a boring way...by hitting the next button on my own blog. But I come back because you are so funny. I wonder how you actually find out how people find your blog. I am not very user savvy so I haven't figured that out yet. But I am glad you did because this is just what I needed after only having 90 minutes of sleep last night and getting up to the London bombings on the news. Refreshing laughter.

Still very jealous of your search strings.

Alls I got recently is two separate searching for others who share their hatred of Tom Cruise.

About the dog with fish breath, though. We have one of those and no cat. It comes from his food. Some kinds have fish oil in it.

Hi along, (welcome!)amie, sparky, weetzie and lawbrat ...

I posted this before I heard of the London bombings...I was going to take it down...but then I read what amie said and thought..maybe humor will keep us all going in these times of horrid events and human tragedy.

Sparky, hmmmm I would never know about that because I've always had cats with dogs and basically all their breaths stink to high heavens...here I'd blamed it on the catfood incorrectly. Perhaps you'll be the next blog where people flock to know about dog-fish breath.

Along and Amie, I have Blog Patrol installed on my blog (at the very bottom of the page you'll see it) It lets you know how many visitors have come to your blog, but also can tell you when they came, how they got there (for example: google search) and will tell you what people were searching for.

Sometimes I can't believe people have been ushered to my blog when I have no recall of ever using those words..then I'll see that every single word I've ever written or every single word ever placed in comments is scanned by Google...so just about any subject will bring people to me now.. a mixed blessing...

Heeheee what a lovely break in my day to come here. I'm glad you didn't decide against having this up on a day when we need to be reminded that there is a lot in this world that is good, and right .. and yes, funny.

Homey housewives is my most interesting one. I am niether a homey or a housewife, go figure. My drunk wifes hot sister is another key word search that lead to my site. People have some odd random thoughts.

Hi Mary: just catching up here. Ive been busy with "stuff". Glad to hear you had a good 4th. Ours was great too surprisingly. Everybody got along, nobody went to jail. It was great! A bloody miracle in fact. Maybe the stars and planents were all aligned correctly, I dunno.

hahahha, poor Jeff, "homey housewives", at least it wasnt "homely housewives" :)

You guys crack me up...

Nilbo! a big hello and thank you for coming to my blog. Humour has to exist and last through time...it's what has kept me going in low points in my life.

Jeff...I have to second what dashababy said...homey housewives is nowhere as bad as homely housewives...laughing wildly in my office disturbing animals who don't get it.

Dashababy, isn't it always a great holiday when there are no cops on the scene?

I once had a New Year's Eve party with people as old as in their 80s....still the cops came...music too loud...hell, we had people who couldn't hear...it was a kindness that our music was that loud!

Just associating with you gets me strange search strings results. This afternoon I was hit by "my xenu hurts."

Got any advice to pass on for a painful xenu?

6:35 PM
Blogger mary bishop said...

Oh no...I think I was the one that put Xenu on your blog my dear Sparklestone...apologies.

Xenu pain is hard to deal with. I would say take your xenu to the nearest volcano...lay the afflicted part on the top, and wait for someone to drop the h-bomb...then run like hell so none of those nasty alien particles stick to you.

And this is all science mind you...

I love these things, always entertaining. I'm keeping a running list, to post another one some time, too.

I can just here the plaintive lament, "rectal lice, WHY? WHY????"
