In Your Face
Have you checked your Facebook today? Let me rephrase that: Have you checked your Facebook in the past 10 minutes? Are you keeping yourself up-to-date on the text messages and e-mails? What about your blog? Why ...

Hi! I came across your site while blog-surfing around. I really like your site. If you can please check out my site. We sell the Reverse Parking Sensor System. A safety device that every driver should not be without.

Hey lawbrat! How are you? I don't mind spam that much...I do mind when I don't understand what in hell they're selling! Is it a Facebook or a reverse parking sensor?

I used to read all the time...(majored in English) now I don't read much anymore..lucky if I can get through the newspaper.

Blogging does take away from reading time, but it holds its own value and joy and until I'm tired of it I choose to blog now in my spare time.

Irina is a task maker! This was one hard meme...but fun. Now if she'd asked if I owned the book I could put a check by a lot more of the titles...;-)

This list makes me feel bad for slowly reading a lame-o John Grisham book an hour a week for the last three months. I think I may have read two of the books on the list by choice, and one in high school. I re-read my copy of "Catcher in the Rye" a few months ago (that I never returned to the high school library, twenty years ago). Still not sure why that book caused such a stir; I hated it.

Thanks for the explanation about Whitman! Sounds a little tame compared to some of the poetry I keep hidden in my closet, lol!

Who is Nick Adams?

Metro, I was so dismal in math that I had to do well in English or they would have found me a "home" to live in. I haven't read Catcher in a while...I should just to see if I would still be impacted today.

Irina, Whitman wrote some clearly homosexual poetry and even the word homosexual could be enough to have a book banned. Please read (when you get a chance): Girls Lean Back Everywhere : The Law of Obscenity and the Assault on Genius by Edward De Grazia, - it is truly eye-opening!

Nick Adams was Hemingway's alter ego and Papa wrote a collection of stories about Nick at various ages and in various situations.

Amazing - I've read like 80% of that list. I'm laptopless til Friday and I definitely can't handle doing this meme at work, but maybe this weekend. :) And I loved about 90% of the 80% I read.. which means, uh... 78% yeah. Anyhow, entertaining meme. :)

What is a Facebook? I'm confused too. Is it a book that tells you how a blind person reads your face?

I love the list. I may have to do this in a bit. Feeling under the weather today-so I need to stay low key. I too used to read so much. I'm gald that I did when I had the chance. Now it's always..when a snowstorm comes, I have all these books to read.

I've read maybe 5 books on this list and I fancy myself a big reader. Interesting that James and the Giant Peach is on there....
it's my favorite childhood book. The hardcover is so cool ~ the illustrations are very creepy and I remember loving it as a kid. I have a hard copy somewhere.....
