A SIMPLE, PLEASURABLE MEME!
I just got tagged by Irina to list ten simple pleasures I enjoy.
Here they are!
1) Watching the birds at my bird feeder.
2) Reading
3) Playing the piano.
4) Petting my cat and dogs.
5) Watching children at play.
6) Walking on the beach.
7) Making a special cocktail and pouring it in a beautiful stemmed glass.
8) Bubble bath
9) Friday bagel breakfast with friends
10) Sunday New York Times Crossword Puzzle
I'm supposed to tag ten people but I'm not sure ten people visit my blog ;-) so I will tag anyone who wants to share their simple pleasures with the blogworld.
Thanks Irina...it's good to remember how much fun the above, inexpensive pleasures truly are....( your meme meshes with my post on being content...!)

Wow, that DOES sound really nice... Which reminds me... haven't taken a bubble bath in YEARS! Whoa! : )
A bubble bath with candle, nice music and the time to soak and enjoy is truly one of life's simple pleasures.
I'd take one right now, except I'm battling water in my basement...way too much rain all at once!
What a wonderful list. Number 7 is the most intriguing to me right now.
I'll post one, MB! Gimme a day or two, i've got finals in two weeks.
I wish i would have stuck with piano lessons. I could lay back and listen all day.
NY Times Crossword Puzzle makes me feel stupid.
Kimananda...Oh I love number seven mucho...!
WenigGluckliches - Cool!...I'll be checking your blog to see what your pleasures are...
MY Times crossword puzzle is no where near as good as it once was...now it's more of a trick than a true crossword puzzle...but, I still love it.
Cammy...do share with us your simple pleasures.
My new self-improvement kick is to find pleasure in simple things...to really taste my morning coffee...to enjoy the feel of the morning newspaper in my hands before I even start reading it...and to recognize and acknowledge the things in life I really do love that are absolutely free or almost free...8-)
Wow - There are only two that I might perhaps change from your list. Total. You and I have very similar likes.
Mary, this cheered me up today. It's good to remember the little things, they're within our reach.
Well, except for #6, I have to drive about 2.5 hours to that and that is one of my very favorite things in the whole world! Nice list. Thanks, I made my own :)
Echrai and Dashababy...I can tell you one of my unpleasures...mopping up my basement. Our basement was completely flooded by yesterday's freak rain storm that dumped over 5 inches of rain in a few hours...
But, I did tell husband that once we were done with the sump pump and the water vac and the mopping-- the floor would be much cleaner...
Then I realized that the paint is all bubbling off due to the water..what a mess!!!
OH NO! I hate water messes. There is a commercial where the tub is overflowing onto the floor, I can barely watch. Good luck with that.
But this is an excuse to strip down the old and repaint in a better color! Keep looking on that bright side!
Yes, it's time to reevaluate the junk that accumulates in the basement.
And like it or not (I don't like) we will have to give up some big bucks to get the water problem under control...
Nice list MMM, I love a good meme.
AMK...little things mean a lot...little water in the basement really means a lot! How did the Katrina victims deal with it...I'm destroyed over a few inches and they dealt with so much more...
