I've been bee-busy lately. But I did try something new which should free up more time: I now talk on the phone with an ear bud carrying the phone in my pocket. Free hands, yeah!!!!

I managed to talk all morning long AND do the laundry, make the bed, clean the bathroom etc. Cool!

Husband made a romantic dinner last night just for me: Shrimp over angel hair pasta with capers, onions and spinach. Delicious and there's plenty for tonight too. (I am going to add some garlic in because I think it needed garlic.) Topped that off with a very chilled Pinot Grigio and for dessert, I ate half a bag of Caramel Cremes.

June is always one of the busiest months for me. Every weekend there is an event and some events during the week. I will blink and it will be July.

And, I am proud to say, I think I might have learned how to do needle point. I adore needle point and it's expensive to buy so I got a little kit (you know how I love kits!) and made numerous mistakes so I put it away. Recently I took it out again, and as if by magic, I somehow caught on to what I was supposed to do and my new work is great. If I improve, I will move on to a large project. I like having projects, AND I can do needlepoint while I'm on the phone!

Somehow I never got the girl phone gene. I hate talking on the phone, part of the problem is not being able to use my hands or accomplish anything during the extended chats. Now even the phone isn't bugging me.

I also never got the girl shopping gene. I hate shopping. I can get into it, once I'm there in the store, but I'd much rather not shop at all.

Online shopping, is completely different. I use Amazon Prime and get my stuff in two days, can't beat that!

tata for now

I too have missed that shopping and I also missed the multi tasking gene. I cannot cook and talk at the same time. My husband is amazed by this.

Needlepoint?! Very cool. I know of some sweet little japanese needlpoint books if you want to be pointed (ah ha) in that direction. I want to see what you do.

AHHH phone headsets - i use them all the time - i can't STAND holding the phone - at work i have a wireless headset so i can walk away from my desk if I need to. :) and bluetooth on my cell phone. Can't stand to use my cell with out the headset. :)

As for projects - yeah, I enjoy sewing and knitting and crochetknit. :) at times - a lot of times i'm happy to just relax and watch tv and read a book.

But I understand - I love shopping but most of the time i prefer to do it with people - if i'm a lone i'm miss efficiency and i don't stop to enjoy it. (I do a lot of shopping by phone - where mom or I are in a store and we describe things over the phone. :) )

congrats on the needle point. :)

I'm becoming more and more like a girl. It's disgusting really.

The dinner sounds delicious! Everybody is talking about good eats lately! Nate brought me Jimmy Johns today. Ha. Lunch on the run I suppose, but still nice. Not as nice as a romantic dinner with wine and dessert though. Maybe Nate needs a nudge or two. Just kidding.

Don't forget about us as your July flies by!

PG - My needlepoint career may be coming to a quick end, but I am interested in the names of the books anyhow. I just realized I'm doing some stitches like this: / and some stitches are like this: \

There has to be a stitching craft I can do!!!

Ilanna, I just ordered an over the head style headset as I have little ears and jamming the big ear bud in my little hole is uncomfortable...ooh, this sounds lude, doesn't it?

Nicole, busy or not I manage to dump a few dumb words on my blog so fear not, I shall not disappear. And, if I ever decide to dump the blog completely, I will make an announcement with a two week notice. hahahha

Hey Marko, nice to see your handsome avatar on my blog ;-) All is well here hope all is well with you too.

Two week notice would be appreciated. We'll need some time to comprehend the fact that a blogger such as yourself has a life outside of blogspot. You know, time to grieve ^_-

Lude, did I actually write the word lude? Must be a cross between rude and lewd...must be. That's right, I did it to be clever, sure...

Nicole, once I thought of myself as a clever blogger, but I used all my cleverness up and it took me over a year to recognize that fact.

Now I'm so freaking bland and unexciting I barely even say fuck anymore...but I do like an online diary because it helps me remember things like when the ants will visit next april and it's good to see past problems not only resolved -- but forgotten.

It's easier than finding a pen and a notebook, which I used to do.

No kidding, but I can't imagine anyone missing me as I'm so dull I can barely stand myself.

Minijaxter, thanks for being so sweet, anyhow, I'm not leaving just disgusted with my boring words lately.

Pictures remind me that I want to take some of my front garden before it gets into high gear...thanks
