The yellow flowers are in full bloom now. A thing of beauty is NOT a joy forever, however, as they die off pretty quickly. I was told they are Strivus, but haven't had a chance to look them up.Thank god there are a few places I can rest my eyes where it's peaceful.
I put the TV on for about 5 minutes where I heard a woman died in an ER waiting room while people were calling 911 desperate to get her help as the ER people weren't concerned; Britney spears is back flashing her crotch, only slightly covered this time; and last but not least, Lieberman wants to bomb Iran.
Nuts, the world is nuts!

You know what? MOST of the world is sane and peacful. The nuts get the headlines. But for every nut, there are a hundred, a thousand people like you, and me ... resting our eyes on the beauty around us.
Nilbo, it's true, the nuts do get top billing. I do feel though that the US is as a whole a depressed country after 6 years of Bush and his chumps.
How could CT people vot in Lieberman? Are they surprised at his hawkish ways now? Oy, I feel my blood pressure rising...must take more pictures of cats and flowers.
The news is so uplifting after a hard day's work isnt it?
Nicole, I'm beginning to think those guys in the sandwich boards predicting "doomsday is near!" are right.
But where is Finbar in all of this?
Finbar would love to go into the gardens, but alas, I don't let him out and it is another reason for him to hate me.
