I'm it

LaurenBove tagged me this morning and here's my response:

1. What book would I like to be?

Any of the Dick and Jane primers.

2. Have I ever had a crush on a fictional character?

Max Baron, protagonist in “White Palace” by Glenn Savan.

3. What is the last book I bought?

“Bel Canto” by Ann Patchett.

4. What is the last book I read?

"City of Dreams" by Beverly Swerling

5. What book am I currently reading?

“The Lovely Bones” by Alice Sebold

6. What 5 books would I take with me if I were stranded on a desert island?

a) "Bartlett’s Quotations".

b) "Random House Dictionary of English Language"

c) “Norton’s Anthology of Poetry”

d) “The History of Modern Art”

e) My own novel, yet untitled, to edit.

7. What 3 people am I going to tag with these questions and why?

Hardest of all questions to answer. After much thought I am choosing Hadley, Irina, and Doc Nos.

Also, anyone else who cares to answer is tagged. Hadley & Irina & Doc Nos are commanded to answer…just kidding!

PS Don't forget to read the Bishop Bulletin below!

Yeah...Doc Nos is taking on the book challenge and has accepted his role of being IT.

Doc, can't take credit for the brain scan..that was LB not MB who posted the link on your blog.

Jeeze, MB: I guess you're the smart one and I'm duuuuh I dunno...

thats okay, you gave me my props. You're one hell of a peep.

I knew the doc would play tag with us. I look forward to it. The TS stuff is encompassing, though. Jeb Bush is a crony idiot. I can't stand his trying to influence the fla judge. Glad to hear the judge reinforced his earlier finding when he ruled to take the tube out. Poor terry. How many times can we rehash and get the same friggin answer.

MB: Looking forward to reading some of your recommendations. Know a place I can find them nice and cheap??

LB - I but most of my books from Half.com and Ebay. Alisbris and Amazon for the ones I can't find at the first two places.

I'm up to the challenge! (especially since I've already answered those questions on another blog earlier on). But seriously, some of my answers change, depending on my mood, so that's OK!

I saw the Norton's anthology and almost screamed. Me and Norton spent way too much time together in college, and it all came rushing back...

Hi Plum, Yup Norton dates back to my college days too. One thing I'd have to bring with me is a magnifying glass..the print is so tiny and the pages are sooooooooo thin.
