I’m glad it’s Monday. I Love Mondays.

We had a busy weekend filled with lots of good food, friends and more alcohol than I’d care to think about right now. So Monday means back to normal life. Reasonable eating and drinking reigns and more sleep and less fun – but I’ll end up living longer because of Mondays.

Mondays always make me think I can make a fresh start. I can change bad habits on a Monday but never on a Sunday.

Mondays I really feel like cleaning my house. Fridays I do not want to clean anything.

I floss more on Mondays than I do on Thursdays. I start diets on Mondays and brush the dogs on Mondays and pay bills on Mondays.

At 8 PM on a Monday, you’ll find me in jammies, snuggled up on the couch with a book or CSI --wrapping it up for the day.

At 8 PM on Friday you’ll find me out for dinner beginning my fun night.

Mondays are the worst day of the week to have a birthday or anniversary.

Other than that, Mondays are very cool and very necessary; they bring order and routine, very needed after a wacky weekend.

I am very thankful for Mondays, for the start of a new week; an early bed time; a quiet peaceful evening.

Mondays don’t get the respect they deserve.

When I worked at the paper, I hated Mondays. In fact Sunday night was a bit dreadful just thinking about Monday.

Ah but now, I sometimes have residual Monday feelings from my husband. Over all I feel as you. I balance the checkbook, file papers, make lists. I am the organizer on Monday. Friday becomes the day I hide lists and shove unwanted items in a closet or cabinet.

Oh but I have to make a weekend list or else my husband falls apart.

i used to hate mondays - until i came to the realization that tuesdays are much worse.

mondays you are still reliving and recovering from the weekend. during football season you even have football to look forward too.

tuesdays everyone is back to thier old selves and you dont have anything to look forward too.

wednesdays are the middle of the week --if you make it through wed the week is almost is done.

thursdays you make plans for the weekend

fri and sat are pretty much the weekend
sundays are recovering but there is football or going out with the family.

so you see its really tuesdays that should be hated.

PG -- we need a weekend list too or we never have anything to eat. If we don't plan out a meal or what we're going to do, we spend forever saying: well, what do you want to do? So now we try to firm up our plans prior to Friday.

Jackie...I'm not so big on Tuesday either...same sort of reasons, people start waking from their comas with requests or complaints!!

Ilanna...You are funny. Your comment really made me laugh! Hope you'll have an easy Tuesday without bunches of broken computers to fix!!

Bah... Mondays suck.

Means I gotta do stuff and get out of bed early to go to work rather than sit around and scratch down there and drink beer and watch TV.

Monday is a new start... to doing crap! C'mon...

Wenig!!! Happy to see you at my blog! Isn't it great to hate another day and give poor old Mondays a break?

JDJ - okay so you don't buy my Monday loving ways...but I say you can scratch down there on a Monday anytime you want. If caught doing so and let go from your job, just direct them to my blog!
