Babbling, Blogging, Blabbing and Dabbling

It’s all Laurenbove’s fault

She wrote a post about her new obsession called Babble and published a link. I should know better than to click on a link that someone says will become addictive.

So, instead of accomplishing anything at all during the day, I Babble and I blog. If not Babbling or blogging then I’m blabbing on the phone. If not Babbling, blogging, or blabbing then I’m dabbling (art, piano, writing.)

I must have the best husband in the world because he doesn’t complain about my lack of self-control. I cannot make myself do something that I don’t want to do unless there’s a harsh punishment associated with not doing it.

For example: I have to pick up the dog poop or the lawn man will not mow the lawn. I have to cook sometimes because even I get hungry. I have to do laundry because I like to go out clothed.

So I hurry up and do the bare necessities early in the morning to free up the whole day for play.

I do not need another computer game to steal my heart. I don’t need another hobby or phone pal. I don’t need anything other than self-control in which I’m very lacking.

So I don’t recommend using the link I posted to anyone. But if you do happen to go there, and happen to like it, I’m missing about 20 words…if you know the missing words –then just blog, blab or babble me the answers! TGIF!

Oh man, I feel like shit. Sorry dude.
I hope you're still speaking to me.

=)

I knew you'd love it b/c you're a word person and a woman of facile brain. You may also be like me and a wee bit OCD. If this is the case, once you've played over and over and over eventually you'll wear down and be able to go out in public again, leave the computer, dress...you know...the extra stuff.

and...don't say you weren't warned!!

Have fun and happy weekend!

Thanks LB - problem is I'm missing words and on the sidebar they're talking gibberish, but I get the point they KNOW the words that I don't...grrrrr

I commiserate. I don't blab on the phone, but I blab in person. And beyond that, well, I work so I have money. If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to blogle, babble, or blabble. Much blovele and have a wonderful weekend.

I didn't even go to the link because there is no more room for my procrastination.

My husband once said to me, (because he thinks I talk alot), that I have a certain number of words that I need to say each day. If they aren't exhausted by the time he gets home, than he will get the remainder.

acumama...he's right! I read an article that says women have a need to say about 1000(not sure of the number) more words than a man in a day...so they hate it when we talk and talk and talk...oh well...

I used to have to mow our lawn with an old-school reel mower (the kind that had the barrel-shaped blades that rotated). We had two dogs. If I missed a lawn-grenade on the pre-mow inspection, I'd end up with it finely chopped and launched at my face. I was always very careful not to breath through my mouth while mowing.

I miss the days when I was able to actually have a hobby.

Cap'n - those mowers were dangerous in many ways...but I'm sure you did an excellent job in searching for doo doo.

Hi Christopher..welcome! I guess you are one of the many (including my husband) who works more than 8 hours a day..gotta find some time for fun though...

A very understanding husband you have. My hubby likes to see results. I know he just wants me to do what really makes me happy. You play the piano too. I am very envious. We are kindred souls (except i have no musical talents, except karoke singing)
At least I don't have a fascination with my hubby's playstation or i might not even blog.
