It's Cat Photo Day in the USA or so I declare.

I thought if I published his hideously dirty paws it might shame him into better personal hygiene.

Notice that he is still chewing on anything he can sink his teeth into.

Count those toes, it's amazing. The black fuzzy thing is his tail, so long it's a disability.

my cat tries to get in the dishwasher but i wont let her. sets a bad precedent for the dog and the munchkin. and as always even with dirty paws he is adorable.

How do you stop your cat? I turn around and Finbar's doing something bad...lately he's taken to removing my husband's toothbrush from the holder and dropping it on the bathroom rug.

grr - stupid google login lost my post. :(

OH well - anyways - mister loves the dishwasher but is thankfully way too big to go in. But then again i think he just likes it cuz he can lick stuff off. Course when he goes trying to lick the clean dishes while we try to put them away HAHAHAH.

Of course as usual finbar is adorable - a NATURAL ham for the camera. :)

Mister also likes stealing things from M's nightstand... :) (big surprise... :) )

Ilanna, I swear he was mugging for the camera. Beau and Archie run away because they hate the flash.

Mister and Finbar have much in common!

LOL you and your crazy cat pictures! They are cute. I am getting a cat for my mother. I have a friend who needs to give her cat away because her sheep dog will not leave the poor thing alone. Her name is Stormy and she is very tiny and a lover. I think its the perfect cat for my mom and shes super excited about it.

Thnx for the wonderful comment the other day Mary, you rock!

Oh he is trouble with a capitol TROUB! You can see it in his eyes. You are the proud caretaker of a demon cat.
My cat does not get near the dishwasher because it makes too much noise. Perhaps if you open it midcycle for him to see that it is full of creepy water maybe that will freak him out enough that he no longer wanders in. OR keep it closed! Try that!
I dont suggest closing the door and turning it on.

marko, I bet your mother will get much joy from a cat...even though mine is a pain in the ass, he's so cute he always makes me smile.

By the way, I always leave your blog smarter than when I come to visit and that's because you take the time to let your readers know what's hot -- in music and in men!!

Gavin, this cat has no fear...loves water and isn't spooked by sound. We have one of these super duper coffee makers (Capresso) that not only grinds the beans LOUDLY it also has a mechanism where the container of ground beans automatically swings over to the coffee pot side...this spooks me, but not Finbar, though my other cat and two dogs run from the room like a ghost is screwing around with the coffee pot.

This is an actor cat. A cat that shows no fear of sounds. Get this cat on T.V. and have him earn his keep.

Hi Mary!
Finbar is so cute. My favorite is his little black dot on his nose. The paws are way cute and he's so fluffy. Makes me wanna get a kitty but Dasha would not go for it I think.
I just read about your faint. Ick. Had one or two of those myself. One time I was in a restaurant, very embarrassing. I told my husband I didn't feel well, then the buzzing and ringing in the ears set in. I kinda knew it was gonna happen which made my heart race even more and then I just fell outta my chair. I was wearing a dress too. Glad your feeling better.

Dashababy...oh poor girl, fainting is such a private thing like you want to choose where to do it and yours happened at a restaurant...mine wasn't too bad because I was with best friends, still, barfing into a bag in someone's kitchen isn't way cool no matter what!
