Time for more cat pictures hahahaha. I never knew how a kitten would offer me the counterpoint to my worries over the war, global warming, and loss of personal freedoms.

Once small enough to fit in a dog bowl with some room to spare, he now has gotten so big he can't even sit in it, though he still tries!

Hey sweet Linda! You have a great weekend too. Glad you like the bowl picture. We ended up not going out for pizza because my friend DJ brought a whole dinner to my house. Wonderful garlic chicken cooked in a cast iron pot, mashed potatoes and yams, broccoli (how is that word spelled?) and what a treat to have a whole dinner delivered to your door...my own take home chef!

You inspired us today. Bruce and I went out for pizza for dinner!

Thanks..........it was deelish!

I would like to know how you acquire all these wonderful friends that cook for you!!! Care to share????? You make my mouth water with your descriptions of the great food they cook for you!

It's not fair!!!!!

As for this weekend, we DO have to work tomorrow, but Sunday will definitely be spent concentrating on rooting for DA BEARS!!

GO BEARS!!!

Love,
Linda

Linda, I will root for the Bears too as I didn't have a preference, but since that's who you like it's fine with me!!

My friend DJ is my cook on wheels. Whenever his partner Doc, is at a meeting or at the opera or ballet(DJ's not an opera or ballet kind of guy) he calls up and says hey I'm coming over with dinner.

He's one of the best chefs I know and there is nothing he makes that isn't super spectacular.

The chicken was amazingly good...I'll have to ask him how he did it -- but I think all he did was stick the chicken in the pot with onions and garlic and cooked it in the oven. When he put it in my oven, he took the top off for browning...yummy!!!

After we ate, I told him to take the rest home for Doc to snack on...so off he went carrying his big cast iron pot to the car...very funny.

Irina, it is some tail thanks!

Dasha - You have given me a great idea! I could do a years calendar, say for next xmas, starting with Jan first baby photos...and each month show him bigger and bigger. My husband would love that...thanks for the idea!!

Oh Dear LInda, so sorry about your Bears, I rooted and rooted but to no avail, though that first touchdown was amazing, wasn't it?

Yes, MB! That first touchdown WAS amazing..........so sad that it was the ONLY highlight of the game for our Bears. They played pathetically!

Phooey!!

Thanks for rooting though.....we did too..but nothing seemed to help!

On to White Sox baseball season for me!!

:)

Love,
Linda
