Check out the "cartoon" version of my wonderful bed. I am having fun with the special effects that come with Kodak Easyshare.

RITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime you pop up on my blog I get a rush! I am glad you are doing well and look forward to buying your first book of poetry!!

Ilanna...I do have a down throw that we put on the end of the bed that is more of a peach ...but in cartoon land it came out Pepto Bismal pink.

I love cartoon effects, maybe from now on I'll just use cartoon photos to post on my blog...hahahah

Linda hello and how is your beautiful grandson doing today?

I have another antique bed in my guest room...I'll have to take a picture one day...how long will my photography fetish last I wonder??

Awww.. I feel the love.

Hi Linda! I visited today. Your grandbaby is so adorable that it Pains Me. He is one of those 'makes you want to have a baby' babies.

Mary,

The rush is mutual. Always.

Hey Mary,
I'm lovin' all your pics even if they aren't the best in the world according to your anon commenter.
And it's always typically an unkind comment they leave behind but they did say they liked your writing, weird, whatever....
Again, I love your pics because it's a little bit of you that we never got to SEE before and anybody that reads your blog on a REGULAR basis, LOVES you!
I too have a Kodak easyshare and I didn't know it has a cartoon option on there...hmmm. I must check that out.
Your bed is awesome.

It's so much fun to see rirapita in my comments!!

Dashababy, I'm loving this camera. I'm having too much fun taking pictures and since I really don't have much to say lately, I like that I can put up a photo and share my world with my friends.

What color dress are you wearing to the wedding??

Mary, your house is charming, like yourself. But one thing I must know: what do you do with the pillows on the bed when you retire for the night? I know multi-pillows on the bed are featured in upscale dept. stores, in magazines, etc., but when I tried to achieve that look I only had room to throw the pillows on the floor. Disaster almost struck when my hubby, getting up to pee in the night, tripped on the pillows and almost went airborne down a flight of stairs. "No more decorative pillows," he bellowed! So, what do you do with your excess pillows?

Madame! Long time no see, and I know it is my fault.

The extra pillows are propped up next to the side tables so the cat won't scratch the speakers that are enclosed in the bottom of the tables.

My guy hates the excessive pillows, but does use them as a cat barrier!

xoxox

PS --Here's an interesting book you might like The Giant's House by Elizabeth McCracken.

Are you a birder? If so you might also like The Providence of a Sparrow by Chris Chester.

Both are unusual but very good.
