Brrrrrrrr

Baby it's cold outside! But no worries here, our power is still on and our pantry is filled to the top with goodies.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas ... of course I am speaking to those people who celebrate Christmas, either religiously or as a fun myth with Santa and reindeers. I say this because I was leaving a party on xmas eve and a woman and her daughter were leaving the party. Knowing she was Jewish, I said something like it was great seeing you again, hope you have a very happy New Year.

She turned to her child and said, "What do we say to our Christian friends?" And the child said, "Merry Christmas."

It was interesting that her assumption was if I was not Jewish then I must be Christian...Wrongo!

I'm Clausian... I like the big guy in the red suit; I love presents and stockings hung by the chimney with care; I love beautiful music no matter what the words are saying...that's the part I like...

Harrumph to "Killer Tomatoes," throat-peeling peppers are the latest "garden variety" weapons invented -- and they make those tomatoes look like nothing more than runny catsup.

When it comes to vicious vegetables, you can't beat the sadistic, tongue-tearing heat of a Naga Viper. One bite might kill you; two bites and you might spontaneously combust!

Everything looks so shabby in a snapshot. Why is everything being underlined.. Why do I feel like my own blog is some foreign site? Did I really use the eff word that frequently six years ago?

Did I know how to write a post once without an underline...man this is making me nutso. I got rid of the bold but still have the GD line...as you can see my internet etiquette is no better than before.

Here's Pooch...a rescue dog from Georgia who I didn't need but who does make life interesting. Hey, something has happened and now the line is gone...the bold is gone...hurray! But as you can see I'm not gone although most likely forgotten.

I've been writing for money instead of fun although my recent assignments have been enjoyable I must admit. But for some odd reason, almost like when you visit your old high school or college, or when you have that burning need to drive by your childhood house, or the first house you ever bought..that feeling has come over me in respect to my old blog.

I started it almost 8 years ago but dumped most of my 2003 entries that went like this:

"I am writing on a blog. This is fun. I like my blog. Hello anyone out there?" Had to delete that flotsam and jetsam.

I have wrapping to do. Bought nice gift bags and lots of tissue paper, wrapped gifts in the tissue paper and plunked them into a bag...quick! Then the guilt started. Doesn't matter what present you give if it looks like you didn't give a whit what the present looked like when wrapped...so I must now redo my wrapping philosophy and at least tape the tissue paper around the gifts before I plunk them back into the bag.

That's it folk, words and wisdom like you've never heard before...!
