I wonder how this flies in Peoria.

I can't wait to see what else is dug up on the new GOP VP -- but certainly this radio show conversation is not what I'd expect from someone a heartbeat or half a heartbeat away from the presidency. Giggling about nasty ad hominem attacks from the shock jocks? Next thing you're going to tell me is she does up her hair in a plastic banana clip.

Palin for Veep?

Oh my oh my, Sarah Palin for vice president of the US? I sure hope McCain wasn't betting on getting any of Hillary's 18 million votes -- women ( except the extreme right) don't vote for women who want to hand over their reproductive rights to the government.

Plus women also think a smidgeon of experience might be a nice touch too. Actually, we also like the idea of a political candidate who isn't under investigation on questionable practices.

I think McCain has sunk his ship and as a Democrat I'm thrilled with his poor choice.

Whether it's poor judgment, lack of judgment or plain old senility, I can't fathom why he'd choose Sarah Palin when he had so many other better choices, female and male.
